[p]Review of BRAVE

When I saw the trailer for BRAVE I wasn’t too sure about it. It looked like most typical animation films for kids; a tale tale about bravery which has been done ad nauseam. Yet I had some hope that I would still enjoy it as it is made by Pixar and Disney – they have this great ability to make films that both young and old children can enjoy.

This time Pixar and Disney has really outdone themselves regarding 3D animation. Still drawn very cartoony, yet their movements and facial expressions are amazing – especially in 3D!

Merida is not your typical princess. She is not so girly, nor is she interested in following the traditional heritage of her parents.

It’s an amazing tale about being who you are, but not forgetting where you came from. That you should be able to lead the life you see fit for yourself, yet not giving up your heritage.

A very beautiful film with a heartwarming story – packed with amazing action!

Cry me a river

Criticise someone for being selfish and you’re the one being a dick. You know what you are? You’re fucking comedian!

I always found it cringeworthy when someone was accused of being a PC-Police*. I will never use that term, as I find it kind of pathetic, but I’m starting to understand where they are coming from.

Everyone seems to be offended these days. Doesn’t matter if you try to be diplomatic or a cunt about it. If you make a comment about their statement, which they don’t approve of, you are suddenly the one that is being a selfish arsehole and ruining for everyone else.

So if I comment on what someone has said or written– regardless of my tone –and they kick-up a stink about it. The gloves are coming off! No holds barred!

If you put something out there for the public to access. People will have opinions about it.
Deal with it, princess!
