Veg*ns and journalists have something in common

It might sound a bit odd, but veg*ns and journalists have actually something in common. They both can unlock vast amounts of knowledge in people with their presence.

Don’t believe me? Read on and I’ll explain how it works.

If a person admits to being a veg*n, the people surrounding this person, especially non-veg*ns, will suddenly have a greater understanding about evolution, biology, nutrition, etc than the person who is veg*n. Not to mention, the veg*n will be accused of having an agenda, not the insecure bunch ganging up on veg*n.

Right…

The same happens with journalists. Letting people know you write for a living will leave you bombarded with a myriad of different “facts” about your profession. Anything from how to write better to how the business works, as in, how to get editors to publish your work. Not forgetting the countless suggestions about what you should write about, because as long it’s interesting it will published.

Of course…

Fascinating, isn’t it? How those who know the least about a topic tends to act as if they know the most. And how dare you try to, avoiding using the word correcting, providing them with accurate and factual information!

Don’t get me started on being an introvert…
