Young, dumb and full of …

When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.
– Mark Twain

This is how I felt today. Not like Mark Twain, but probably how his father felt, “bloody know-it-all kid”.

I really hope I weren’t that cocksure and ignorant at the same time when I was a teen.

Bloody hell that made me feel old … but I digress.

I’ll just pretend their ignorance will be in my favour.
