Big exam tomorrow. Should’ve spent yesterday and today getting ready for the in-class essay. Got my citations and reference list ready, but other than that, haven’t done much.

I just can’t be arsed at this point.

My mind has gone on holiday already and is not willing to coöperate with me. I should aim for top grades in my last assessments, but at this point I should probably just be happy with a pass. Yeah, yeah… Not much of goal, but as long as I keep my sanity I don’t care. I’m already a published journo. I’m just getting a degree in journalism to get a more secure leg to stand on in this cutthroat business.

Because we have been told that the only way to make it, in the Western World, we need a university degree. If we don’t have that, we won’t be successful in life.

What a load of bollocks!

I will become a good journalist by working as a journalist, not studying journalism.
However, I’ll do anything to play the system to get what I want.
